What Drew is Doing  - Christmas 2004

Christmas was great fun this year.  The build up to Christmas was also very exciting.  Everyday we would check to see if the
Packages Man brought anything.  Many days we got lucky and found a big brown box waiting for us.  It was quickly followed
by a big sigh, because he knew he would have to wait for Jesus' Birthday to open all the presents that ended up being be
hidden in the basement.
Last year Santa was very scary, this year Andrew made it a little closer to the big guy.  Maybe next year he will sit on
Santa's lap.  The Santa adventure was made tolerable because it included a train ride.  On a very cold wet day we rode
an old train to an old station to see Santa.   While Meric and I sat and shivered, Andrew kept his nose to the window
so he would not miss a thing.
Occasionally the Christmas music was
a little too loud for our sensitive one.

Finally, the Big Day arrived, and he was very pleased to see his new fire
engine.
What would Christmas be
without a Christmas dig?
Andrew was very good at opening everyone's presents.  Any present that did not contain
a truck was greeted with "ah, no trucks in there'.  However, he was very pleased with the
new crane shirt.
