July 2005 - The Overboys' Adventures
July was especially good for Andrew since he got to celebrate his 3rd Birthday. I am not sure if he was more excited about the cake or presents? Fortunately, neither disappointed him. For months he said he wanted a Backhoe Loader for his Birthday on 'July fifteen twenty five' (not sure where he came up with that date?), and he never wavered. When asked what he wanted for his Birthday he always said a backhoe loader, and he would quickly go get the catalog with the picture - although I am not sure it really every left his side for 2 months.. The pure joy he felt when he finally got the dreamt about backhoe loader made the day special for everyone around him! It was a wonderful celebration.
HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!
Occasionally we try to revive the old 'fish face', what we get is a pretty cute little boy, but not much of a fish face.
What looks like an innocent photo smile, is really an attempt to get some 'big money'. Fortunately for now that means Quarters not Twentys.
Who would have thought that saying 'cheese' could be a full body activity?
True Love - Andrew and his Trucks. When not at the NYC fire station we were on the lookout for other fire equipment.
Getting a little help from cousin Maddie
Happy to be outside with his tractor and hay.

While Adam was in the pool Andrew was in the sandbox or mud pit. Of course, by the end of the month he was there with his beloved backhoe.
