March 26, 2005 We have been home just over a month, and it has been an interesting one. Someone once told me the hardest part of having 2 kids, is that something is always going on with one of them - how true this is. Just as Adam adjusted to the new timezone and started to sleep better, Andrew got sick and kept us up at night. Then a few days later, Adam got sick. The past few weeks have been full of teething, ear infections, shots, trips to the emergency room to stuff intestine back, and generally testing Mommy's sanity - which we are still waiting to get the results of. Through it all Adam and Andrew have probably fared better than Mommy and Daddy. Adam is doing great. He loves to watch his big brother, and explore the house for anything wood or cord to teeth on. We affectionately call him 'Flash' because his pace can be rather slow, but he is learning to crawl a little faster if his brother is after something he wants. Adam lets us all know that he does not like having toys taken away by his big brother, as he definitely has a temper. He is also very stubborn, and will push anyone out of his way when he wants something. We trimmed Adam's curls, and now we are wondering if they should grow back. I am sure we will go back and forth with this one, as curls are something new to the Overman household. All in all life with 2 boys is fun, and we feel so lucky when we watch them both sleep peacefully at night. During the day when they are both pulling on Mommy and screaming for attention, we wonder how anyone makes it to age 5, but at night it is the best feeling to know our 2 little boys are home with us.
Adam loves the exersaucer, as long as he is inside. Outside is not Adam's favorite place to be.
We hope that the fingers will be replaced by Binkies. So far we have not had any luck.
Getting used to the camera always flashing.
