May 2005 - The Overboys' Adventures
In May it hit us that Andrew is now almost three years old - wow! He is certainly acting like a 3 year old, and talking all the time. Of course, Andrew has always talked our ears off - the biggest change is that he now always asks why and he understands everything we say. Yes, we have started to spell everything to avoid the onslaught of questions Andrew always produces. It is wonderful to hear him so full of curiosity, and at same time a little challenging to come up with answers to all his questions of why. Andrew is learning to perfect his cheese. He normally does everything possible to avoid Mamma's camera, but he has learned how fun it can be to see himself after the photos. Fortunately, this results in some cute pics.
Working hard to say cheese
So happy to be outside.
Andrew can never have too many construction trucks.
Andrew's favorite tractor shirt.
Looking cute in Mamma's glasses.
The big pile of mulch was a dream come true for Andrew. We wondered if we should really spread it around the yard, or just leave it for him to play with?
Andrew is very aware that he has a birthday coming up, and that birthdays mean presents. The night we got this 'truck catalog' he spent hours looking at the backhoe loader he wants for his birthday. He made sure to give it a hug to let it know just how much he loves it.
Our Jumper
A river bed of rocks - what better way could there be to spend an afternoon? It is best experienced with no shoes (as is always the case).
The mulch was the perfect place for a nap.
