The Journey Part 5

Update on March 11th
Our first visit on Monday was a preview of what is to come. Andrew was fussy and we weren't sure
what to do. He appeared to be sleepy but didn't want to fall asleep. We figure he knows that when
he goes to sleep we leave and he doesn't want that to happen (at least this is what we keep telling
ourselves).
Now that we visit twice a day life is a bit different, we had to hurry out to lunch and get a few
things done so we could get back to the Baby House by 2:30. When we got back there was another
couple in the room with us. Andrew was in much better humor and we had lots of fun. Unlike the
morning visit, ithe afternoon went by very quickly with the help of sharing the play room with another
American couple. It was great to speak English, and share stories. We also got confirmation that
our agency is on top of making our stay enjoyable.
Monday night we had dinner with a single mom and her sister who took custody of a little boy last
Thursday. He is has blossomed in the span of a few days, and you would never know that she hadn't
been his Mom forever. It is very encouraging to see how quickly they become attached. We can
hardly sleep waiting for our court date on Friday and we are praying that we will get final custody
Friday afternoon. Now for some more pictures . . .
