Crazy about Dad!

Mom is not so crazy about
the orange outfit - but it
is the 'in' color over here.
Update from Thursday, March 6th

More logistics on our stay in Kaz.  Our driver's name is Sascha, and he takes us everywhere we need to go.  He
is a great guy, and speaks English very well considering he is self taught.  He enjoys philosophy and had to get
black market books during the old Soviet days.  An interesting story is that his grandmother is in Almaty
having eye surgery  - she was enslaved by the Germans during WWII.  She received a check from the German
government yesterday for 1,600 Euros.  This is quite a lot of money for her.   This all happened while Sascha
took us sledding in the mountains outside Almaty.  Okay, now for the best part of today's story .  .  .

Today we visited with Andrew in the playroom for the first time.  We were with him for an hour and a half  by
ourselves.  Until today we had been in the room where he lives with other children and the caretakers.  He was
tired today so we spent most of the time holding him.  He spent the time looking around the room and taking in
the sites.  He was particularly interested in checking out Dad.  He doesn't see any males in the Baby House so
while Dad thinks he is special it is really just the novelty.  The best part of the day was at the end when he
decided he had enough play time with the ziploc bag (today's favorite toy), and he was ready to sleep.  He
started his nap in Mom's arms, it was very special for all of us.

Pictures from today's nap with Mom will be posted on Friday.
